Ancient Stuff
While in college, I tried unsuccessfully to find/form a band. I played with a few people who were worthwhile, but we never ended up getting anything solid together. I did the local musician ad scene for a while, but that was- less than lucritive.
These are some 4-track demos I did by myself after beginning to get into black/death metal stuff, some time in 1996. I passed the material to my friends at the time, who seemed to like it. I just never did anything with it. This is pulled from an already mixed version on cassette, so it's not the greatest sound quality, but you get the general idea. They're all instrumental: 3 tracks (#s 1,3,5) are metal (guitar/drum machine), 3 tracks (#s 2,4,6) are interludes (2 keyboard, 1 guitar). The keyboard ones are especially rough as far as the timing goes- they were totally improvised. The guitar/drum machine ones were well planned out, as I had to program the drums- which took a while.
